Privacy notice

What we collect
When you order or enquire: your name, email address, business name, website address, and anything you send us for your report (for example reviews, a CV or details for a letter). For payments, our payment provider handles your card details. We never see or store full card numbers.
For business reports we also use publicly available information about your business, such as your website, public listings and public company records.
Why we use it
- To deliver the report or service you bought (contract).
- To reply to your enquiry (legitimate interests).
- To keep records for tax and accounting (legal obligation).
- To contact businesses about our services by post, phone or, where the law allows, email (legitimate interests). You can ask us to stop at any time and we will add you to our do-not-contact list.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us run the business, such as payment, email, hosting and software providers. Enquiry form submissions are passed through Web3Forms, our form-handling provider, which emails them to us. We do not sell personal information. Where we use automated or AI-assisted tools to help prepare a report, we send them only what is needed for that report, and we use providers whose business terms do not allow your content to be used to train their models. A person checks every report before it is sent.
How long we keep it
Order records for 6 years for tax purposes. Material you send us for a report or letter is deleted 90 days after delivery unless you ask us to remove it sooner. Opt-out requests are kept indefinitely so that we do not contact you again.
Business directory
Our Lincolnshire Directory lists local businesses using public information: Food Standards Agency data (Open Government Licence v3.0), OpenStreetMap contributors and details businesses give us. This can include a business name, address, phone number and website, and for a sole trader that may be personal information. We list businesses because it helps local people find them (legitimate interests). Listing is free. To correct, claim or remove a listing, email aide@tagsleaford.com and we will act on it promptly.
Cookies and third parties
This site does not set cookies and does not use advertising or analytics trackers. Some content is loaded from other services, which can see your IP address when your browser asks for it: Google Fonts (typefaces), cdnjs and OpenStreetMap (the directory map), and Web3Forms (only when you send the enquiry form). If you pay through Stripe, Stripe's own page may set cookies, as described in Stripe's notices. If we add analytics or any non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
Where your information goes
Some of our providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards the law recognises, such as the UK's approved transfer rules.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how we use it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email aide@tagsleaford.com. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
